• Hi,

TEC is incorrectly enqueuing block assets and is not working correctly when Gutenberg plugin is active:

    • Setup WordPress with The Events Calendar and Gutenberg plugin installed
      https://playground.wordpress.net/?networking=yes&plugin=gutenberg&plugin=the-events-calendar
    • In the TEC settings activate: “Activate Block Editor for Events” (…/wp-admin/edit.php?page=tec-events-settings&tab=general-editing-tab&post_type=tribe_events)
    • Add a new event and confirm that blocks are not working, plus warnings/errors are visible in the developers console (Please use block.json or enqueue_block_assets to add styles to the iframe.):

    Hi @huubl

    Thanks for reaching out.

I attempted to replicate the issue you mentioned, but everything is functioning properly on my side. You can check the results at this link: https://share.zight.com/12ujY4yZ

Can you let me know if you’re still experiencing the problem on your end?

    Hi @d0153

Yes, nothing changed. Did you click on the date block and checked the developers console?

    Hi @huubl ,

    Thank you for your message.

This link (https://playground.wordpress.net/?networking=yes&plugin=gutenberg&plugin=the-events-calendar) seems to install WordPress with just the Gutenberg and The Events Calendar plugins and no themes. However, installing and activating the twenty-twenty-one theme (since The Events Calendar currently does not yet fully support Full Site Editing themes — see Partial Support for FSE Themes) on the environment seems to resolve the issue.

    Hi @tristan083

I know that TEC doesn’t fully support the block editor, but does this mean you are not willing to address this issue?

    You are adding assets incorrectly:

Why did you put change this topic to resolved? Since it’s not fixed. Do you have an update of internal ticket [TECTRIA-550]?
