Teams outside of leagues

    You replied to a website inquiry asking me to post here so others can see the steps needed to resolve this particular issue, regarding MSTW League Manager:

    I’m trying to set up a high school football site for an area. Sometimes, though, schools play other schools from out of the area, and I wanted to know if there was something I’m missing from adding those out-of-area games without having to fully add a team.

    For instance, a local school (Duncanville) has a game against IMG Academy (based in Florida). I would like to be able to add this game to Duncanville’s schedule without the need of going through the steps to add IMG.

    Yes, thank you for posting here. There are several ways to proceed with this depending on the details. The catch is that Leagues, not Teams, are assigned sports. I recently created a ‘special’ sport called “All Sports” for “leagues” made up of remote or non-area teams. To me that means teams that you want to show on your local teams’ schedules, but you don’t care about displaying their schedules or standings.
