Team Ranking

  • I think this has actually been answered before, but for some reason, I just can’t seem to figure it out.

    When we add or take away points from the team (For whatever reason), shouldn’t it effect the team ranking?

    For example, I have 2 teams that have an equal amount of wins. Team 1 has beaten Team 2, so I want to add a single point to Team 1 so they rise in the standings.

    At this point, when I add points to a team, no matter how many I add, it doesn’t do anything in the rankings.

    Do you have a specific point structure that you use for wins, etc.?

    Hello, LaMonte! Thanks for that wonderful plugin!

    My problem is the same. But i still cannot fix it. You can see players table on the link above. There are 3 third places. I tried to add points, change Sport and Point rule, but nothing happens. What possibly goes wrong? Could you help me with that?

    I’m having the same problem with a league I run. It’s for Badminton.

    Each fixture is played with 9 matches. Points are awarded by matches won:-

    Win 9-0, 8-1, 7-2 or 6-3 you get 3 points
    Win 5-4 and you get 2 points
    Lose 4-5 and you get 1 point
    Lose 3-6, 2-7, 1-8 or 0-9 and you get 0 points

    I’ve got it set up as Sport “Other” and the points rules as “2-Point Rule”. I then use the +/- to add the extra point to the winner or loser.

    However, this doesn’t affect the ranking. I would have thought it would sort by points but it doesn’t work.

    Anyone help?
