    Hello,

I am testing your plugin. Thank you for your wonderful work. If I add a teacher and then login, the teacher has direct access to the https://mysite/wp-admin dashboard along of course with the WPSchool dashboard. At least in my setup a logged in teacher has access to 13 different tabs from the main worpdress setup. I do not wish to have anybody else other than the admin to have access or be able to see the WP dashboard; or as a compromise at least have the dashboard display only relevant tabs to the WPSchool dashboard. Is that possible?

    Thank you.

    HI @gus2019,

We have created WPSchoolPress in such a way that only admin has rights to access the wordpress backend. Teachers can not access WP admin dashboard or the WP backend whenever they login with their respective credentials. I am sharing the screenshot of teacher’s dashboard of the current version of plugin v1.1.13. – https://prntscr.com/n9i6oo. I hope this can clear your confusion. No one else can access pages of WP Dashboard except admin.
There are limited rights given to all users on the bases of their roles.

Furthermore, if you have any confusion, you can write us to [email protected].

I appreciate your reply. Yes, I see the dashboard of WPSchoolpress. My installation through WordPress has the following url: https://www.mysite.com/wp-admin/admin.php?page=sch…I installed it through the “Add new” from the WordPress installation plugins.
If I go directly to https://www.mysite.com/wp-admin/ then the WordPress sidebar/dashboard is there with different tabs for a teacher to browse through like posts, media, gallery, etc. I do see that the role of Teacher has limited rights, but even with the limited rights the Teacher, at least in my installation, could browse through numerous tabs if going directly to that url../wp-admin/.
Maybe this is only in my installation. But I deleted and reinstalled and I get the same results. On the demo you have, if one changes the above url from WPSchool’s site it automatically reverts back to the site and does not allow direct access to https://www.mysite.com/wp-admin.
    Thank you again.

    Hello,

With the use of another plugin I eliminated menu items from wp-admin dashboard for the role “teacher”.
    Please close this topic.
    Thank you.
