Taxonomy ( Term ) validation problem

  • Hello,

    I’m adding image field to my custom taxonomie terms and made it required.
    On the Edit term page i see Image field with name ( that i gave to it ) and a “*”, but when i try to save the term without adding image, it saves it and so i don’t get any image there.

    Could you please fix it, so it would be like in post ( page ) editing so that required field is marked with the red color and there would be no saving until image is added.

  • Same problem with me for custom taxonomy. In my case I can’t get attached post at front end side. It stores into DB but didn’t show.

    I have same issue. The required text field is not working in Edit term page.
    By the way, I know how to use save_post hook to validate Post publish but I don’t find any hook save for update/insert term.
