    Hello,
Is there a way to change the taxonomy slug?
currently my slug is in Greek but i want it to be in English like “brands”.

Is there a right way to do it?
Note that the site is live and has many sub pages etc and i don’t want to produce 404 error.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,

I′m not the developer, but just go in WP Permalink settings, there u will find a new input field only for the brands slug… Insert your desired slug there. It should output the url then.

Hi and thanks for you info.

My main concern is the redirect. Does somehow creating 301 redirect from the old URL to the new URL?
    Example:
    myDomain/oldBrandSlug/***/***
    myDomain/newBrandSlug/***/***

In my live site there are 350 brands and 6000 products so the automated 301 redirects are important.

    Hi Olgamm,

One plugin perhaps to help you out is WPML Sticky Links, but I would recommend to test on staging site. Also, probably some other plugins as well.

    Best,

    Raido
