Taxonomy sitemap has a 1970 in modified date

Hello everyone!
Index sitemap for my blog has references to posts, pages and categories sitemaps. For a category sitemap there stands 1970-01-01 00:00 as modified date. Modified date for posts and pages are OK. However all dates inside a category sitemap are also OK. How can I fix the wrong date for my categaory sitemap on index page?
I’ve tried doing some changes in categories names and settings and disabling/enabling sitemap in plugin settings, but none of these had helped.
