taxonomy show in selected posttype

  • i have 3 posttypes – books,novels,kindle all having same taxonomy ‘genre’

    when i add anew item in either the genre the metabox turns up in admin dashboard UI as well as in new post UI …. how do i get it to show up only in one posttype e.g only in books.

    setting the show_UI => false makes it disappear totally from all 3 too.
