• Hi, I have created a custom post type with several taxonomies in my theme’s functions.php file.

    Almost all of the taxonomies work fine, except for the one labelled ‘region’. Whenever I search for one, the 404 page comes up.

    Any ideas on where to start looking for the cause of this?

    Here’s an example of creating the region taxonomy.

    $region_labels = array(
      'name'          => _x('Non-US Region','taxonomy general name' ),
      'singluar_name' => _x('Non-US Region','taxonomy sigular name' ),
      'search_items'  => __('Search Non-US Region'),
      'all_items'     => __('All Non-US Region'),
      'edit_item'     => __('Edit Non-US Region'),
      'update_item'   => __('Update Non-US Region'),
      'add_new_item'  => __('Add new Non-US Region'),
      'new_item_name' => __('New Non-US Region name'),
    );

    register_taxonomy('region',array('gddprogram'),
      array(
        'hierarchical'  => false,
        'labels' => $region_labels,
        'public' => true,
        'show_ui' => true,
        'query_var' => true,
        'rewrite'  => array( 'slug' => 'region' ),
      ));
