what settings are you using for the taxonomy?
how are you displaying the terms in your theme?
have you recently flushed your rewrite rules?

everything is set to true. this link works https://www.site.com/taxonomy/taxonomyterm but the general taxonomy archive doesn’t, and i would like to make this page a listing of the available terms.

yes, i flush every time there is a change.

could it be a permalinks setup thing? thanks for the speedy response, btw. you guys have awesome support.

Ahh, I think I get your intent now. You want a url that you can go to, and it shows all of the posts that have *any* term from $taxonomy, from newest to oldest, with pagination, etc.

    Correct?

I suspect that may need to be a custom solution with WP_Query and a custom page templete for a page named after the taxonomy. I believe WordPress doesn’t provide taxonomy archives, but they do offer taxonomy term archives for the individual terms.
