    Hi,

I have a custom post type called ‘advertisements’ with several taxonomies e.g. condition, type, length, materials etc.

I have mapped the Cf7 form to each of these fields, no problem there. However when i view the post it has created none of the fields are populated. They are all completely empty.

Another thing, the video you posted shows that you can map it directly from the CF7 edit screen using the ‘Form to Post’ tab. This tab does not exist for me? Did i miss something during installation?

I think i answered part of my own question. The fields weren’t being populated properly because the select dropdown list i had in the CF7 had options in it. Make sure you remove them and let it auto populate from the taxonomies.

    Hi there,

I have exactly the same problem.

Could you elaborate a bit about the auto population from the taxonomies – how do I create this field in CF7 correctly?

Thank you very much – as I am dying over this point here… ;-(

    Best regards

just place an empty dropdown field in your form (without any options) and once mapped to a taxonomy, the plugin will automatically fill it with the terms in that taxonomy
