Taxonomies links

    Hi,

    I’ve noticed that only some of my custom taxonomies are given links, like betyg (some of them doesn’t even work) and I’m wondering why this is? I’d like to remove the links from the author if it’s broken, how do I do that?

    Hello,
    For the custom taxonomies the plugin creates, WordPress will automatically create a archive page for that taxonomy. That’s why custom taxonomies are clickable.

    As for the author taxonomy link not working, it is because the slug of author clashes with default WordPress post author taxonomy. So when you visit /author/simona-ahrnstedt WordPress is searching for a post author and not the book’s author. That is why I added the auto-pluralization feature, so the book author slug would be authors.

    To fix this, I would suggest you create another taxonomy for the word “Author” in your language and use this as the book author. You would also need to manually re-add this info to your book reviews. And remember to select it in the new “Book Detail Items” option under the Template settings page.
