    Hi guys,
ive got the following errors and wanted to check on best practices here and to confirm that I dont really need to have those and checkmark the “Do not display this taxonomy archive in search engine results (noindex)” boxes or would that be harmful for SEO?

Some Custom Taxonomies have no meta title set! We strongly encourage you to add one by filling in the fields below.

    rl_category
    rl_tag
    rl_media_folder

    Post tags also shows this:
This custom taxonomy is NOT excluded from your XML sitemaps despite the fact that it is set to NOINDEX. We recommend that you check this out.

I notice that the Sitemap is empty, probably because I had no tags yet. I will start adding tags to my news posts now in order to fix the Google Search Console Crawling error, unless you have a better solution?

    Thanks
    Chris`

    Hi,
yes you can mark as noindex every post type and taxonomy related to your lightbox plugin.

About post tags, we have answer you from the other topic ??

    Thanks,
Upon some reading, it is actually suggested to keep tags and categories in the sitemap as they might rank in google as well.

But I do want to get rid of those error messages. So i was clicking the button to hide the 3 mentioned ones in Titles & Metas -> Taxonomies

    rl_category
    rl_tag
    rl_media_folder

With that I only have the tags and categories left.

Somehow the Dashboard still shows those errors? Do I still have to set the meta description for those even though they are turned off now? Just to get rid of the “Fix this” messages in the Dashboard.

    Cheers,
    Chris

By clicking the quick tags below the Title and meta description template for these taxonomies, it will remove the error messages (SEO, Titles and metas, Taxonomies).

    Don’t forget to save changes.
