Taxonomies and post types should be persistent

Hi all, I have tried several plugins for playing with custom taxonomies and post types and I am quite frustrated.

When I create taxonomy, post type and several posts with some plugin and then plugin is deactivated/unistalled then taxonomies and post types are missing while posts of custom types remains in database but are inaccesible.

For my opinion taxonomies and post types and their settings should be persistent (stored in the database) and WP itself should provide functionality to manage them.
