Taxes report in Analytics has one code

First, I have done searches on this issue and found others experiencing the same thing. While the threads have been marked as resolved, I’m not finding a solution that has worked. I’ve tried the various suggestions given to fix it or debug it, but they haven’t worked.
I have disabled all extraneous plugins, nope. I tried a different theme, nope. Problem is always there.
When I load the analytics for taxes, it only breaks down my orders in up to 4 tax categories. 1 is my home town, 1 is for the state of New Mexico, 1 for the state of Tennessee, and the city/county for one of my customers. I have tried various combinations of dates, from a single day to months.
On the smaller date ranges, it only shows one city/county code for all orders. The largest date range divides the data into 4 tax codes. There doesn’t seem to be rhyme or reason as to how they are divided.

You can get it by navigating to the **WooCommerce / Status** section of your site. Once there, click on the **Get system report** button and then copy it by clicking on the **Copy for support** button. Then paste it here in a comment.
I can understand how it is currently displaying, however, I am having trouble understanding the expected behavior in this case.

In a taxes report, I expect each sale to be categorized in the tax code it actually falls under. I need to know how much sales tax I owe to each section of tax code.
Instead they’re being lumped into tax codes they don’t belong in, ie a sale to Reno, NV is currently being lumped under the tax code for Riverside County in California.

Just to clarify it a bit, when you say:

I am assuming that you have a different tax rate for Reno, NV, and Riverside, CA, is that correct?
Are those taxes applied on your Tax tab pointing to their own zip code? You can check all your taxes by navigating to:
WordPress Dashboard > WooCommerce > Settings > Tax, there you can double-check your Standard Rates, Reduced rates, and to which zip code they’re applied.
If everything seems correct, can you share a full screenshot of your tax settings with us? You can use this tool, to paste and share the link with us:
Also, just as a side note, keep in mind that we’re not tax professionals so our advice is how to use our software. For specific advice when it comes to what or when to charge tax/VAT/GST etc, we recommend consulting with a tax professional or an accountant on what may be your best options.

I’ve never uploaded tax rates to this before- I’ve always had it set to automatic calculation and I have the WooCommerce Tax plugin. The reports have always shown the orders separated by tax codes. This may be the first time I’ve tried it with the new Analytics rather than the old WooCommerce reports?

NOTE: I’ve never added US-CA-RIVERSIDE COUNTY-HOMELAND tax or US-CA-TEHAMA COUNTY-RED BLUFF Tax (my home county). In the reports, New Mexico and Tennessee show up as well, but they don’t here.I don’t have any reduced or zero rates set. And I totally understand and acknowledge you’re supporting me on software questions only ?? I’ve just never had to configure anything on here beyond “automatic calculations”.

You talk about “automatic calculation” but this is not a default tax setting of core WooCommerce. More likely you’re using automated tax calculation on your WooCommerce Shipping & Tax plugin.
