• Taxes are all calculated incorrectly on the PDF Invoices.
In WooCommerce checkout and all other areas taxes are working according to the settings.

In my setup I have Prices are entered with Tax, Display prices in shop: Including, and display prices during cart and checkout: including.

So with the above settings, for an Item Costing $175 inc 10% GST. I get the following on the invoice.

Line Item Price: 190.91 (wrong it seems to add tax to the 175)
Subtotal: 190.91 wrong, most likely due to the line item.
Total: 175 (inc. 15.91 tax) Total is right tax amount is correct.

If I change the “Display prices during cart and checkout” setting to Exclude Tax, I get:

Line Item Price: 175.00 ex tax (wrong it is the price inc. tax)
Subtotal: 175.00 ex tax, wrong, again includes tax.
tax: 15.91 (correct for the $175 inc 10% tax)
    Total: 175, correct.

Nothing I do seems to fix how it reports the prices.

    PS: Versions:
    WordPress 4.9.6
    WooCommerce 3.4.1
WooCommerce PDF Invoices & Packing Slips 2.1.9

    Hello Shaun,
I’m sorry that the output is not as you expected.

This plugin does not make any price calculations (unless you have made modifications to the template!). This means that the prices should be the same in the invoice as in the email sent to the customer.

Could you post the following 3 screenshots of a single order?

    1. Prices/taxes/totals in the WooCommerce order details page (WooCommerce backend)
    2. Prices as shown in the email for this order
    3. Prices as shown in the PDF invoice

Also, can you confirm that you are using the original, unmodified Simple template that comes with this plugin. If not, try temporarily switching back to see if that resolves the issue!

Not sure where I can post the details.

First screen (the woocommerce backend order details), shows

Line Item Cost: $175.00 Qty: 1 Total $175.00 GST: $15.91
Invoice Totals: GST: $15.91 Total: $175.00

I can’t get what the email was. I need to forward some emails to myself and wait for a new order.

    The PDF Details:
    Line Item: $190.91
    Subtotal: $190.91
    Total: $175.00 (includes $15.91 Tax)

    Hello Shaun,
You can upload screenshots to a free service like imgur. The most important bit is in the email, so I’ll wait for that.

Just to let you know that WooCommerce does not show any ‘including tax’ prices in the line items in the backend, so the $175 is actually excluding tax. Here’s an example:

If this doesn’t match up in the totals, something went wrong in the tax/totals calculation. Was this a manual/backend order or an order placed via the checkout? If it’s a manual order and it is not completed/paid yet, you can try clicking the “Recalculate” button, which is sometimes required after making manual edits.

If you can post those three screenshots I’ll do my best to help you pinpoint the issue.

I’ll try to run thru a fake order to get these details.
