Tax per product not working

    Hi!

    The taxes are not working while following the code of your link are not working:
    https://wc-marketplace.com/tech-blog/vendor-per-product-tax/

    I get an error in the product cart when the vendor has not entered the taxes for the product, so apparently the system is not taking taxes from Woocommerce when this product tax is empty as mentioned in your link.

    Can you kindly assist?

    In addition to this, do you have any way to control taxes according origin of the vendor / seller destination? And services vs product? And consumer customer vs business consumer?
    The EU Taxation is very tricky and I don′t know how to aboard this a multiseller perspective.

    Any recommendation?

  • Hi @ciberyak, sorry to hear that you have to face this inconvenience.

    Our team is working on this issue. However, it will take some time, as we have to modify this custom code and test this thoroughly on our end.

    Once I have an update from the team, will let you know.

    Hi @ciberyak, currently the tax is calculated as per WooCommefrce i.e. admin’s address or customer’s address.

    That is why using per product tax, the vendor can set their tax rate for each product.
    Now we are doing some research on how to enhance the tax module from vendor end. we will soon start development on that too. However, it will take some time.

    Any update about how this is already working? Any estimated deadlines for that?
    As mentioned above, my website is only pending to correct the CSS of the incorrect margins of the vendor store (solution that you are delaying for unknown reasons) and fix the taxation problem.
    As soon as I have this fixed it I will be able to launch my website, and so far I am just only getting expenses because of you delaying your solutions for the past months.

    Dear Team,
    the above code is not working.
    When entering any number in General – “per Product tax”, and update the product, the figure disappears and it returns a blank field.
    I have sent you some photos,
    Also is not clear if the “per product tax” field needs to be a number (ex: 21) or a percentage (21%).
    Is not working at any case, so I will thank you could fix it.
