    Hi All,

    I’ve been having a problem with the Tax/VAT not adding to the total on some invoices for some reason. has anyone else had this problem?

    On my tax page I can’t alter most of the drop down tabs as they are greyed out?

    Any help would be great!

    Hi there,

    Just to make sure – are you referring to the drop down tabs as found in your WooCommerce settings? If so, are you using WooCommerce Services by any chance?

    If not – this might be caused by a plugin/theme conflict. Are you still experiencing the same issue after deactivating all of your plugins (except WooCommerce) and switching to the default Twenty Seventeen theme?

    Yes it’s the drop down tabs and I do use WooCommerce Services, I deactivated it and they became selectable again. Is this normal?

    I’m still sometimes having the issue of the VAT not adding to the total on the invoice. The VAT is on the invoice just not adding to the total. On the WooCommerce order section the column marked tax with the area doesn’t have anything in it other than – but the Tax is still on the bottom of the invoice just not on the total.

    Sorry for the explanation it would be easier if I could send picture.

    It is. WooCommerce Services automates the taxes and therefore disables the dropdown.

    I’m still sometimes having the issue of the VAT not adding to the total on the invoice. The VAT is on the invoice just not adding to the total. On the WooCommerce order section the column marked tax with the area doesn’t have anything in it other than – but the Tax is still on the bottom of the invoice just not on the total.

    That is because there is probably no integration with whatever plugin or service you use for invoice integration. An integration will need to be coded so the tax display also works on your invoices.

    Actually you are doing great. But for next time you can additionally try something like: https://imgbb.com/ – be mindful not to share sensitive data, for example genuine customer data or order data when posting images in locations you have no control over (and in general).
