    Hi guys,

The problem is, as title says, with taxes. Taxes are now showing, when order is fulfilled, just as 0 in total (includes 0.00 Tax).
I saw similar problems that other user had before, which was caused by missing table (woocommerce_tax_rate_locations) or with table with 0 prefix in it. Unfortunately, I do have that table and it is without 0 prefix.
Taxes are enabled, based on store location, inclusive in prices (in Shop and in Cart), Standard Rate (10% for books).
WP is last version, and so is WC. Theme is Storefront 2.0 (customized child theme), all plugins are up to date as well.
I even tried to disable and enable WC (although I felt it was like “If you move mouse faster, things happen’ faster” action).
So, if anyone has suggestion, I would be very thankful.

    Cheers,
    Aleksa

I did it, but tax wasn’t calculated for shipment. Cart, Checkout and Order shows shipment costs, but doesn’t calculate tax for it. Shipment is ticked, as you can see.
I tried to change priorities for taxes, but the result of calculation is then wrong. For instance, when product price is 100 and the tax is 10%, it calculates it as 8.46 in local currency. Further more, whole tax amount is wrong (it also miscalculates tax for shipment, which is entered as tax excl. in shipment setup tab).
So, only thing that I could do was to remove tax class for shipment and to enter shipment amount with tax, with Tax status None. The result in order is correct, tax for product is displayed, shipment is displayed, but without tax calculation.
To cut a long story short, at the moment tax for product is correct, but not for the shipment.

Not following entirely, but are you aware shipping costs are always defined excl vat?

I am, that is default on Shipment settings tab. I mentioned it because only solution (while trying to get close to correct result) was to enter price of shipment with calculated tax, in order to come up with right price for it, at least on the customers side.
Thing is, tax amount for shipment is not displayed, anywhere (Cart, Checkout, Order).

Need to see the tax options screen.

And the result of settings above in Cart total.

Are you sure it’s not right?

Shipping tax should only include your 20% rate, giving total of 40. So it’s including **something**.

    Thread Starter 1jealeksa

    (@1jealeksa)

I’m sure. I’ve created that product with price 110, tax incl, for test purposes.
First, tax for product is 8.46 and it should be 10 (in currency, as in percents).
Second, amount of tax for shipping should be 33.33 (in currency e.g. 20%). Flat rate shipping was applied, taxable.
So, calculation is wrong, whole tax sum should be 43.33, but Totals says it’s 50.26.
Further more, I tried with another new test product (price 100, tax excl. and same settings for Standard rate) and retail price (on front end) was calculated as 130, obviously summing both tax classes (10% for product and 20% for shipping).

No, it shouldn’t because your first tax doesn’t have the ‘shipping’ row checked.

The 2nd tax does – thats the one which is being factored in. Since shipping costs excl. tax, the calculation is 200 * 0.2

Tax calcs on inclusive prices are different. See https://github.com/woothemes/woocommerce/wiki/How-Taxes-Work-in-WooCommerce

    I read that.
OK, it may be that I didn’t explained through screenshots, or my English is not so precise (of course, it might be that I misunderstood something as well).
So,here’s an example of totals when price is tax excluded (Standard rate for product is 10%, for shipping is 20%).
Second example is totals when price is tax included (same options for Standard rate as above).
All is applied locally (there is no cross-border/country/region taxes and/or shipping).
One way or another, it’s not right calculation. Or, as I mentioned above, there is something that I misunderstood.

(Standard rate for product is 10%, for shipping is 20%).

This is where you’re going wrong. You cannot do this. If you want one rate for products, and one rate for shipping, create a new tax class for the shipping taxes then assign this on the ‘tax options’ screen.

As I said in post before, usual suspect is human, meaning me, who misunderstood usage of additional tax classes and how to assign them to shipment. Shortly, it works now! Thank you very match, Mike! ??
You guys are doing great job, specially considering number of users and support threads. It takes time and patience.
So, we’ll wait for WC v.2.6, hoping to bring us even more useful features.
For me, this thread is closed.

Once again, thanks, cheers and see you,
