Recently any discounts added through WePos are being calculated wrong. Say something is £25 and you enter 20% discount, it goes down to £20. Which is correct. When you process the order, in the backend of WooCommerce the order is actually £19.00. This is the same whether you have the option in WePos settings “Calculate tax for Fee” Yes or No.

It has only recently been happening, maybe in the last 2-3 weeks so must be due to a Woocommerce update or something that no longer works with the current version of WePos.

As a follow up, what is happening is WooCommerce is taking the full discount as net, and adding the tax to it, so more discount is coming off than it should. Or at least that’s what is being reported in the backend.

    Hello @kenthosting,

Based on my knowledge, there is indeed a known issue with the tax calculation in wePOS. It appears that one user has previously reported this problem, and the issue is currently awaiting a solution in the development queue.

To stay informed about the progress of this issue, I recommend keeping an active eye on the matter by visiting the following link: https://github.com/weDevsOfficial/wepos/issues/132. This link will direct you to the specific issue on the wePOS GitHub repository, where you can track any updates or resolutions related to the tax calculation problem.

    Thanks!
