Tax not calculating for some reason

Hi everyone, I’m having an issue with Woocommerce not calculating tax at all. No matter what I do, I seem to get a tax value of 0. All I want to do is tax products sold in the state of Michigan at a rate of 6%. Anywhere outside of the state the rate is 0%. For whatever reason, I can’t get this up and running.

As you can see, tax is being calculated at $0.00. I have the same value when clicking “Checkout” and looking there.https://i.imgur.com/OLbfGkK.png

These are my tax options for the site. I’m basing tax on the customers shipping address and using the “Standard” tax class again.https://i.imgur.com/2aTMgPR.png
Here you can see the settings for “Standard” tax class. I only have the one class so I know that I’m not mixing this up with another class or something. I have it set to US, MI, *, *, 6%, Priority 1. I see that shipping is checked in the photo. I don’t actually want to tax shipping, but the problem persists even after unchecking shipping.https://i.imgur.com/l0c4Zc2.png
This last one is s shot of the code used to calculate the tax in the theme. I double checked that this code is valid and even copy/pasted the stock code in instead of this. No such luck.The website is at: https://hermanhiss.net
