Tax issues using Square Gift Cards

We’ve got the WooSquare Plus version of the plugin, and we’re having a couple of issues with the gift card functionality. While the gift card option does generally work, it enters a negative fee in the order review table in order to show that the total is being paid by the gift card, and therefor not require a credit card. Unfortunately, WooCommerce then tries to calculate the taxes based on a zero amount and the card display shows zero tax being charged. That is mainly a display error, but it confuses our clients. So far ApiExperts hasn’t been able to address it.
Also, from when you click the checkbox to use the gift card, that grand total is static, so changes to the cart in shipping, taxes, etc, aren’t updated in the amount being covered by the gift card.
So two issues that we’re stuck with so far, the project is 2 months behind because of these reported issues.
