• Okay here is the ‘normal’ checkout end that shows up when sent to paypal:
    Item total $22.16
    Tax: $0.76

    Total $22.92 USD

It does work this way on some products.

But on a few of them we get this:

    Item total $22.66

    Total $22.66 USD

Note the lack of tax listing on the second.

Tax shows up properly on the woocommerce end. And the prices seem to match on the paypal end, its just not separating out the ‘taxes’ even though they are obviously included in the product price.

I’m not sure if its actually causing any trouble with the actual purchases (I don’t see that its prevented any). But I’m not sure if the taxes are being properly calculated by paypal of if its just assuming its all the base price.

As far as I can see the settings on the backend all match up, so I’m at a loss as to why some would show it properly and some don’t.

Yes, this sounds like something that may be difficult to troubleshoot. I haven’t had any other reports of it, and I’ve never noticed running tests on any of our test servers, so I’m guessing there must be something unique about your tax configuration and product configuration that causes this. It could also be a conflicting plugin or something like that.

It’s going to require more direct and detailed info that we should do publicly, though, so if you can submit a ticket here instead that would be great.

What I would like you to provide is temporary login credentials for your WP admin panel so that I can review all of your settings in an attempt to replicate and reproduce the problem on our test server.
