Thanks for sharing additional information. Can you share a screenshot of your “Display prices in the shop” and “Display prices during cart and checkout” in Tax Settings?

I’ve reviewed your site’s system status reports and noticed that your theme overrides some default templates, such as the cart and checkout pages. Additionally, you’re using a caching plugin too. Attached is a screenshot of my display options for taxes. Please note that I deactivated automatic tax calculation and instead uploaded a CSV file with all tax rates for the US and IT IS STILL NOT CALCULATING. As for my theme, I use Flatsome and it did not give me any problems until I installed and activated TableRate but I deleted it so I’m not sure why this is continuing to not work. I will still run the test though.

Also can you tell me which plugin is the caching one?

please see tax settings. Honestly I have not been getting any help here and it is getting extremely frustrating. I know it’s not my settings causing this. Something was broken when I downloaded TableRate why can’t you guys tell me how to fix? Why does the issue persist even after I deactivate TableRate and delete it?

NOTE: I just discovered that when I check “Bill to a different address?” , the taxes are calculated. Is there a reason why it only calculates here and not before checking this box?

I understand your frustrations. However, please note that we are trying to understand the issue’s root to help.

When you check “Bill to a different address”, WooCommerce uses this address to calculate taxes. If taxes aren’t being calculated before checking this box, it’s likely because your WooCommerce tax settings are set to calculate compound. Could you select shipping instead of compound and set “Calculate tax based on” to “Customer shipping address” in your tax settings?

Also, in the shipping setting, set the “Shipping destination to” either “Default to customer billing address” or “Force shipping to the customer billing address”.

This should make WooCommerce calculate taxes based on the shipping address, even before checking “Bill to a different address”.

A Side note: Since you are using manual Tax rates, you may disable the automatic tax calculation. To do so, disable the WooCommerce Shipping & Tax plugin.
