Tax always show “0.00$” at checkout

I tried to set up tax for my store but it always shows zero at checkout

Thank you for reaching back, with further information on this. From what I gather, something odd is happening indeed.

I’d like to loop back to your first message here. While the store’s System Status Report (SSR) has the WooCommerce Tax plugin listed in the active ones, it appears that the screenshots that come with the same message do not align with that information. The Tax settings screen would look like this, instead. Notice the not user-editable options, below the Automated taxes option.

Could you provide me with the most up-to-date tax settings screen and site’s System Status Report (SSR), please?

Furthermore, kindly also share the .CSV file output with the Export CSV button, in the WooCommerce > Settings > Tax >Standard Rates screen, please. You can paste the text in https://gist.github.com/, or https://pastebin.com/, and feel free to change/remove your site URL in the report for privacy reasons.

Firstly, I set up the WooCommerce Tax plugin and activated automated shipping tax, but it didn’t work correctly (tax always shows $0 at checkout). Therefore I changed it to set up tax manually. Currently, this is my store setting

May I ask, is this happening with all products? Or specific products? Is there any zero rate tax class created in the site?

As a next step, can you update the version of WooCommerce on your site (Under Wp-Admin > plugins > WooCommerce) And the version of the database under WooCommerce > status > tools > update database?

I understand that the issue is happening to all your products here.

Can you please try to switch to the default Storefront theme and only WooCommerce plugin is enabled and see if this works?

If so, then this kind of problem is usually caused by your theme or a third-party plugin present on your site. We can run a conflict test to verify this. I’d recommend cloning your site to a staging environment and performing the tests described on this guide without modifying your live site or impacting customers. Many hosts provide staging facilities, so it’s worth checking in with them. It’s also possible to do it using the free WP Staging plugin.

If this was caused by a third-party plugin present on your site, it would be best to reach out to the developers for further assistance here.

If this did not resolve the issue, please provide the fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.
