I’m testing Jetpack CRM. The support ‘bot insists there is a Priority field for Tasks, which I cannot find. Does such a thing as Priority exist? I can only find “date” to sort the tasks by.

    Hi there, @lbdesign,

The Docsbot is inaccurate as there’s no Priority field in the Task Scheduler feature.

Thanks for reporting this; we’ll amend that.

Can you tell me what’s your use case for the priority field? We might have another solution for you to achieve that ??

    Hello @lbdesign

Do you have updates about that? We usually close inactive threads after one week of no activity, but we want to make sure we’re all set before marking it as solved. Thanks!

    Apologies. I lost this response.

My use case is simply being able to prioritize demands from conflicting clients. I was assuming Tasks could be used for project management, but maybe that wasn’t your intention.

    Hi there,

I was assuming Tasks could be used for project management, but maybe that wasn’t your intention.

You’re correct, the task feature was designed primarily for simple reminders, such as calling clients or tracking events, rather than as a comprehensive project management tool.

However, if you’re looking to implement some form of priority control, you can utilize the tagging feature. On the task edit page, just below the ‘Task Actions’ section, you have the option to add tags to your tasks. This allows you to create various priority levels, like ‘Urgent’, ‘Medium’, and ‘Low’.

You can then easily filter these tags in the ‘List view’. Unfortunately you can’t do that in our calendar view.

    Hope that helps!
