Targeting one post category and exclude others.

    Hi,
    We are looking for some help with targeting only certain post types with the Full Page Player.
    Currently we are targeting using the class .post.ast-article-single. This is appearing on all post types.
    We need to be able to target only the /news posts, whilst excluding all other post types.
    However, some of the News posts are tagged as multiple categories meaning they are all appearing on areas of the website that isn’t just the News Page & Posts. Doing this by a class that features on /news also won’t help as this will still render on news posts that are also tagged as other categories.

    Could you let us know if there’s any other way of targeting only the News posts.

    Also, we have reached the limit on characters played on the Personal plan with 1M Characters. Is there any way to increase our plan for more than 1M but without paying for additional functionality that we don’t need?

    Hi,

    We are working on a new release of GSpeech, where you can choose a Custom Post Type and Categories, for which show the player. It will be ready soon.

    Before that, you can use the category specific class names. For example, if you posts have the news category, you can set the .category-news value for the Content Selector of your audio widget.

    The another way is to use [gspeech] shortcode, to show only on desired posts.

    With regards to characters usage, we have a custom character packages. I’ve sent you the instructions via email.
