Targeting mobile view styles

  • Hi

    I like to do most of my designing in the browser but when I either shrink my browser (Chrome or IE) to get the mobile view or use the developer tools to view mobile sizes I get the Desktop View and not the Mobile View. This means I can’t inspect the elements to see what styles I need to change. I’m guessing its something I’m doing wrong but wondering how everybody else styles the mobile view.

    OK say after days of scouring the internet for an answer I have found out the issue. It was Jetpack which had the Optimise for Smartphones and Tablets switched on which is why I was getting a different responsive version of the site in my desktop browser to when viewed on a mobile device. doh!
