    Hi
I don’t have a link to the page cause the plugin is deactivated now.

I wanted to have a popup only in the posts of one category, but the targeting settings are not working properly.
I choose the posts in the category but the popup is working in all site’s pages and not in the posts, seems impossible to make it work as it should.
Only the default setting to be active on all pages and posts is ok.

I may be missing something but I followed the instructions and it looks unstable whatever I tried.
May be is my theme, I don’t know, I use virtue premium theme.

@satsoklgr – I can assure you that after 4 years and 400k sites using it, the targeting works correctly. Its one of the primary functionalities of this plugin in general and hasn’t been changed in a long time.

Most likely issues from top to bottom:
    1. Your site uses caching and you simply need to purge/clear it to see changes immediately.
    2. You used AND instead of OR to group multiple conditions together. Page X OR Page Y is correct, Page X AND Page Y is invalid.

Hope that helps. If your issue is resolved please take a moment to rate and review the plugin or support.

    Hi

I use only Autoptimize and I had purge cache many times, no other caching.
Also clearing browser’s cache all the time.

Your 2 explanation may prove helpful, I will give it another try.

I just want one popup in a group/category of posts.

    Thanks for support

Hey, this plugin will drive me crazy

In targeting is selected Posts:with category and in the box next to it the category
    AND
In Pages:Selected and in the box on the right the 5 pages I want.

    both are in red

Well, it pops up on every other page except the ones I want.
If I change the status to grey it works everywhere.

I may come from Mars or an exoplanet and my logic is completely different than yours here on earth, what can i say?

    last question

    Does it work with multisites?

    @satsoklgr
    1. The (!) button when red checks for the opposite of what you selected.

    2. Your confusing AND and OR. Show the Popup if viewing post in category X OR on page Y. The current page they are viewing could never be a page and a post in category at the same time.

Our docs on targeting (linked several times from within the targeting panel) go over this in detail with examples. Probably the best place to start.

Also it works on multi site unless you mean have one Popup across all sub sites in which case it’s planned but not done.

    Hope that helps.
