Target URL

The Target URL does not seem to work… or maybe I don’t understand what it does. I assumed you put in the URL of the page in your WordPress site you wanted the results of the internal wiki link to appear on? Is this the case?
It does not seem to do anything…
Can someone please explain to me what this option does and how it works?
