Target index.php with javascript

Hi, I have used your plugin to add a couple of things to this site, latest being some javascript to make a Social Icons section work.

I managed to target the posts and pages but I am unable to get it to work on the home page which is index.php

Can anyone tell me where I need to place the javascript to target it, I’ve tried pretty much everywhere without any luck including the ONLY ON THE HOME PAGE section of Head and Footer.

I have also tried adding it directly to the index.php file without any luck.

If it’s not possible through the plugin can anyone tell me just how I can add it directly to the index.php file.
