Taking the best bits of one theme to another

  • Hi,

    I have put together a website using the “Memorable” WooTheme which can be found at https://hcompx.co.uk/. I like the Features, Testimonial and Posts section on the home page but I’m going to switch to the Canvas theme for greater flexibility. However when I use short codes for these sections on the home page they do not look the same.

    Can you please advise which PHP / CSS I need to copy across to Canvas to get the same look?

  • Template and css files are not interchangeable from one theme to another.

    I’m sure what you want to do is possible, but is more advanced and not a simple solution that can be offered here. It would require more specifics on the look you want and possibly involve function, template and css modifications.

    My recommendation is to find a template that most closely works with your desired results.
