Taking over this plugin

Why not try to incorporate your modifications with the existing fork that Matt Miller is working on? I’m all for a Mandrill plugin that’s more reliable and supports more functionality than the official plugin, and the fewer plugins trying to accomplish the same end, the better.

We already have one but I’ll have a look at what has been done. The whole intention of taking this one over is to get away from another Mandrill plugin.
