Taking hours and hours

I started the regeneration last night. I have about 2000 images in my media library. It got to 4% in about 30 minutes, then eventually my computer went to sleep overnight. In the morning it was at 8% and didn’t seem to be doing anything. I refreshed the page and I could see a couple more images change. Now it’s been another 6 hours and is only at 9%. I’m not sure it’s working.

I’m also running ShortPixel Image Optimizer, just changed my theme recently (the reason I’m using this RTA plugin), and I lost a few thumbnails on my main pages when using the ShortPixel Replace Image plugin. I thought this RTA plugin would be just the thing, but it seems not to be working right.

Is there any place to check if it’s working, or is there a best way to refresh it and get it running as quickly (albeit still slow) compared to when I first started it last night?
