Taking forever now to backup

also getting a crap load of errors saying

ERROR: ZipArchive returns status: (ER_DELETED) Entry has been deleted

ot to settings | Job -> disable ‘Restart on every main step’ and ‘Reduce server load’ than it will faster again.

the other error cames form not longer existing files i think. please exclude cache/temp folders.

i will add a litte think in the next update that makes it hopefully better.

I had the same issue than mrkingid and disable ‘Restart on every main step’ and ‘Reduce server load’ did the trick.
Please notice that when ‘Reduce server load’ is set even to minimal, the backup job takes forever to end and the database weight is barely 3 MB.

This does nothing for me, still takes forever.

v 3.0.1 gets stuck on “1. Trying to create backup archive …”

about 41% the way through and has been doing that for the past hour. doesn’t say there are any faults on the log but I can’t run it all day. Any ideas?

Yup. Wait for an update. This version sucks.

This seems to have part resolved itself on the 3rd attempt.

There are two areas to fill in the email you would like the back up sent to. one under ‘general’ tab and the other under ’email to’ That appeared to help the backup go all the way.

Then, looking back at the backup log it says:
[28-Feb-2013 17:09:17] ERROR: Backup archive too big to be sent by email!

its not a big site. It woud be helpful to see how big the file is. It’s set to send max file size of 20mb…

It doesn’t matter how many times I uncheck ‘Restart the job on every main step on a working job ‘ it rechecks itself.

My ‘Restart on every main step’ is grayed out.

…and my job doesn’t start when I click ‘Run Now’. It only starts after I click another option on the menu. (i.e. Settings, Logs, Add a new job, etc.)

update is in the pipeline, just can’t download it yet.

I am also experiencing all of the above issues:

Plugin failure. Apparently the db wp_options table is missing:

backwpup_cfg_jobsteprestart=”

…which is required to turn off the Restart job option.
