• I need to delete the meta section widget, I’ve found an article on how to do that but it just doesn’t seem to be in the back end in the widgets section.

The recent posts never show a preview image. I thought this might be the ‘grid image’ but it doesn’t seem to be.

I also don’t want people commenting on the blogs is there a way to delete that?

  • Hi @billymosswp, about disabling the comments section: Have you tried disabling the comments site-wide with the option pointed in this screenshot?

And/or for a specific post as in this screenshot?

Apart from that, about the “Recent Posts”. Do you have a “Featured image” selected for these posts?

Hi @mmaattiiaass Thank you very much for your response.

Great, I’ve now turned off comments.

Yes I do have a featured image set but as you’ll see from our blog page it just isn’t pulling through on the recent posts section: https://triflexhomes.com.au/blog/

Also is there a way to delete the ‘tags’ section? I’m happy to have these in the back end but don’t really want a massive list of tags on the front end.

Both the META and TAGS sections are widgets that you somehow added to your website (perhaps by your theme upon activation) that you can easily remove. You should see and be able to remove these at APPEARANCE => WIDGETS.

If you don’t see the META and TAGS widgets at APPEARANCE => WIDGETS, kindly post a FULL PAGE screenshot of what you see.

Check your RECENT POSTS widget to see if it has any configuration options that you may have to change.

If that doesn’t work out, please get in touch with your theme’s author for help with this. WordPress’ native RECENT POSTS widget doesn’t support post thumbnails at all, so this is definitely a feature of the Jhair theme you’re using. But as this is a commercial product, we won’t be able to install it and help you troubleshoot the problem.

    Here’s your theme’s support info: https://themeforest.net/item/jhair-business-consulting-wordpress-theme/23559822/support

    Good luck!
