Hello, we have been using your plugin for some time now, thanks for the great work.

However, I was wondering if it would be possible to make it so that the plugin will take the default product price if left empty on the template page – as it is now we have 2k+ products that we would have to manually create templates for by copying the product price, but with this feature a single template would be enough. Even as a PRO only feature it would be good.

    Looking forward to your reply!

    Hi,

    Thank you for your message.

Unfortunately, the plugin doesn’t support this yet. Currently, the price is always taken from the template (as set in the template).

The addition of this feature is reported to programmers, but we do not know the date of its implementation.

I will add you to the list of people interested in this functionality and I will inform you when it happens.

    hello

as you’re going to add some update to your list :

is it not bad if user can add common quantities and plugins show it as a dropdown list to user in product page. and maybe its better if some checkbox insert in plugins dashboard for this.

    Hi,

May I ask you for more information on this subject? What specifically do you have in mind, do you have an example?

I’ll look into this as soon as I get the information from you and consult with the developer.

Please reach out to me. Thank you for your understanding.

    Hello,

For example, we have 500 products, each with an individual price (that we already imported into the website), all with the same tag. All of these 500 products can be ordered at a specific width (they are timing belts).

Before the flexible quantity template update, we used to edit each individual product, set the minimum and maximum width, and copy the exact same price from the product to the flexible quantity price field/ mm width.

This update would be perfect if you could apply a template to all of the products containing a tag, but if no price is specified for the template, it should take the default product price for each individual product belonging to that tag.

If you need more details, please let me know. Thank you!

for example we sell carpet online and customer always buy this product in certain size (12sqm , 9sqm , 6sqm and …)

But for sellers and manufacturers, carpets are like fabrics that they can produce in flexible sizes at the same price per square meter.

i set limit in min , max and number of increas in plugins dashboard and it shows a up and down button in flexible quantity fields on product page for pc and laptop , but in mobile user should guess the true quantity because there is just a textbox , without any default quantity or buttons for increasing or decreasing

    thank you

    Hello,

    Thank you for your patience.

I’d like to inform you that the latest version of Flexible Quantity (2.2.0) includes a new feature:
    – Linking product price with unit price – you can now use the “Select to use product prices” option, which automatically replaces the Price and Sale Price inputs in the plugin settings with the prices of the products linked to the template.

You can find more details in the documentation (below):
    https://wpdesk.net/docs/flexible-quantity-calculator-for-woocommerce-docs/#New_unit_of_measure

I encourage you to update the plugin! ??

    Kind regards,
