Take out the extra php error settings in version 5.0. The plugin created now all kind of warnings on the live site.

  • I experienced the same thing just now. I had to rollback to the previous version. I don’t know what SG Optimizer did, but I cannot use Version 5.0. Thank you for posting this here, so I could verify what happened also happened to others.

No major PHP errors for me, but did bring my live website down. Deactivated plugin and website back up and running.

It works fine for me, however I just noticed that the new image optimizer is set at “on” upon install. Yikes! This might be a good feature, but I want to be the one to turn it on.

Maybe I wrote the wrong thing–seeing @joestyer1’s comment, this is what happened to our site. It went down–I could not see it at all. I had to rollback to the previous version. I thought PHP errors were there too, I was getting a lot of random problems with the latest version. I cannot use 5.0 due to what it did to bring down our website.

Fixed in SG Optimizer 5.0.2, could you check again after update?

Will check again tomorrow. Also, please set all added optimizations methods by default to deactivated. There are too many things that could go wrong with these additional settings added to version 5.0.

    That’s done too!
