    Hello,

I was wondering if there is a way to take control of the number of ads displayed. It would be great if you can add that option as well.

Thank you for this wonderful plugin.

@kamalh thanks for opening a topic! You can control the number of Auto Ads directly on the Adsense platform by:

    1) Navigating to the Ads section on the Adsense platform
    2) Edit the settings for the website
    3) Going to Ad load and adjusting the amount
    4) Then apply it to the site

Thank you for using Site Kit! Feel free to leave a review about your experience.

Thank you Renee. I didn’t know about it. I am able to adjust ads accordingly now.

But there was this thing I noticed on the Adsense platform.

    Here’s the screenshot: https://ibb.co/mB9fJs1

    It reads: Existing Third-Party Ad

I don’t understand what it could be.

Can you please help me understand what it is and if it is not from my account can you guide me to remove it.

Edit: Is it due to this: Looks like you’ve got an AMP site. Make sure that you’re using Auto ads for AMP.

Since I let SiteKit take control of Ad placement on Amp and non-Amp pages?

@kamalh I can see you’ve implemented Auto Ads for AMP, and the implementation method seems fine. The ad you mentioned from your screenshot is showing from the same account as your Auto Ads account, so I don’t see any issues there.

You can control the ad load (approx number of ads), ad placement restrictions and other settings from with AdSense, now that you’ve activated Auto Ads for AMP.

Great to see you using AMP in standard mode also, keep up the good work.

@jamesosborne Thank you for confirming about that “Existing third party ad” doubt.

    And thanks for the encouragement.

I have one question though. Since the ad load can be controlled via Adsense account for Auto Ads how does Auto ads for AMP be controlled. Since SiteKit implements ads across the site, amp and non-amp.

I am asking this because there is this alert on the settings page for auto ads:

Looks like you’ve got an AMP site. Make sure that you’re using Auto ads for AMP.

Any input from you would be great to clear my doubt.

Thank you and also @reneesoffice for helpful replies ??

@kamalh That notice/alert from within AdSense is just to inform users to use the correct Auto ads (in your case Auto ads for AMP).

The settings, such as ad load work across both AMP and non AMP, in the same way restricting placements or URL’s can be used with the AdSense interface.
