Takayuki’s official response for temp support for v2?

  • Hi,

    We have dozens and dozens of the sites now showing [recaptcha] in place of the previous ‘I’m not a robot’ tick box. I know this is because v2 was dropped in a recent update. But there’s no solution offered which would fix all these sites in bulk, rather than manually logging in to each one to generate the v3 keys.

    Given the number of posts on this forum and negative reviews, is there any plan to take this feedback onboard and temporarily re-add support for v2? Apologies if this has been asked and answered already, but this workload really isn’t something any of us wanted just before the Christmas holidays.

    Thanks for that, but I think that post (over 1 week ago) was before the large number of negative reviews and forum posts. I cannot seem to find him commenting on this again, he’s still active but doesn’t seem to be responding to any of the reviews or threads where users are now stuck with lots of sites (100s in some cases) which now have no protection and require manual work, taking up lots of time just before a holiday season.

    I am in the same situation. I come here every day hoping that he finally changes his mind… But I’m afraid that for accessibility reasons, he forces us to stay on v3. I really hope I’m wrong.

    Me too, I’ve never been on this forum so much! Starting to lose hope that he’s going to actually do anything other than expect the millions of sites to go through the process of moving to v3.
