Tags not showing up

    i have a recipe page that is using tags instead of categories, to differentiate it from blog categories, but when i use the tags as links it doesn’t seem to show the recipes that have used that tag.

    Case in point, the gluten-free and snacks link use the same tags but the recipes aren’t showing up when you click the link.
    Do you know what might be causing that?

    I checked the plugin settings and they seem to be correct. Also I tried to add the template for Recipe tag pages – got the no result page also.

    I went to the Recipes list and click the tag link but it linked me to the page with no recipe:

    I think this is plugin issue.

    Is “Recipes act as posts” enabled on the Recipes > Settings > Advanced page?

    If so, it might be a theme compatibility problem that isn’t handling the recipe post type the same as regular posts.

    On a side note: is there a specific reason for using our old WP Ultimate Recipe plugin? We have a new recipe plugin called WP Recipe Maker that we HIGHLY recommend for these reasons: https://help.bootstrapped.ventures/article/61-what-about-wp-ultimate-recipe

    Is that the only option? i wanted to differentiate it from posts so that i could use them separately to blog articles

    That did fix the issue but is that the only way of making them visible?

    For our old WP Ultimate Recipe plugin I don’t have another solution.

    But again I do HIGHLY recommend using WP Recipe Maker instead. With WPRM you add recipes as part of a regular post or custom post type. So you could create a separate “Recipes” post type to be completely different from regular posts and add the WP Recipe Maker recipes in there.

    i’ve purchased the new plugin
    Can you tell me where i’d find the ability to create a different recipe type separate to post types?

    You could use a plugin like Custom Post Type UI for that, as mentioned here:
