I see that there is a basic MailPoet integration that pulls in subscribers. I see that it also pulls in MailPoet Tags. CRM also has Tags. But the CRM Tags don’t seem to sync or correlate with the MailPoet Tags. They seem totally separate. And I can’t search/sort or operate on the MailPoet Tags in CRM. Is there any way to pull MailPoet Tags into the CRM in a way that they will be useful operationally in the CRM? For example, to pull up a list of people tagged with Tag X from MailPoet?

    Hi there, @lbdesign,

We have a feature request open for our developers and product team to consider that would solve what you requested – we requested to add contact’s tag to MailPoet subscribers upon exporting a segment. I added your +1 on that ??

If I got this right, you’d want to import CRM contact tags into MailPoet tags, however Mailpoet sync works primarily one way (MailPoet -> CRM), so MailPoet tags get synced to CRM.

The sync from CRM to MailPoet is not automatic sync: you will have to export CRM segments into MailPoet each time.

    Hope that helps!

Thanks for this. I was actually asking for the current import to be more useful by turning mailpoet tags into CRM tags on sync, so that they can be useful in the CRM side when they arrive.

However, 2-way sync would be even better. Automattic owns both MailPoet and Jetpack CRM. Why not integrate and support the features they have?

    Hi @lbdesign,

I’m sorry for the confusion above; it is actually possible to sync MailPoet Tags via CRM.

When using MailPoet Sync, you can configure your MailPoet Sync to tag MailPoet tags like this:

You can configure MailPoet tags with select prefixes to avoid overlap with non-mailpoet tags:

As for two-way sync, you can sync from Jetpack CRM to MailPoet by exporting Jetpack CRM Segments to the MailPoet Subscribers list:

I hope that helps! Let us know if you have any other questions.
