Tags Assigned to posts

  • Hi,

    I am trying to learn the features of this wonderful plugin.

    Well our website is very much tags dependent, we have tons of tags assigned to posts for some specific reasons.

    I can’t see any Tag group option while writing new post. I really want it to be there, I mean I want something that I should add tags to group and while writing new post I should assign tag group instead on 100s of tags.

    Is this possible?

  • Hi,

    This feature would be very difficult to implement. Since tags can be added and created dynamically on the new post page, for each tag there would need to be an attached list of groups to chose from. I don’t see at the moment a way how to hook in a new menu with a list of groups and where to place it.

    I think it would eventually mean to rewrite the entire tagging procedure of WordPress, which would cause problems with each new version when the plugin needs to re-adapt to the changes.

    Maybe I’ll have a better idea in future but at the moment I don’t see an easy way to do it. Sorry.

    it is exactly what I need but its not updating records I contacted author of it to do little modifications but he is not getting time ??

    I will take a look when I have more time, unfortunately I’m currently totally occupied by my job.
