Tags are not displayed

    Hello,
    I′ve created a CPT and enabled “Categories (WP Core)” and “Tags (WP Core). The Category field is shown in a new post in this post type but the Tags are not displayed. Also in the “Screen options” of this custom posts there′s no option to enable activate the Tag field.

    Just to be certain, so I know what aspects to try and troubleshoot, this is just for when editing a post in the post type? Not necessarily the frontend with a single post?

    Are you making use of Advanced Custom Fields by any chance? Cause I know that they have the ability to disable the WordPress default metaboxes in favor of their own.

    thanks – yes it was the Advanced Custom Fields Plugin – where Tags were hidden.
