    Hi there, I am using google fonts for WordPress and I’m trying to change the site tagline style from italics to normal. When I make the changes in the settings in customizer it changes, but the moment I refresh it goes back to italics.

    please help

    Hi Jurie,

    Could you please provide a link to your website, or let me know which theme you are using.

    Thanks

    Hi, thanks for getting back to me. I am using Exoplanet pro

    Thanks

    Both Exoplanet and Exoplanet Pro use italic as the default style for the tagline, and it looks like the Google Fonts for WordPress plugin does not explicitly style the tagline (or any other element) in the live website if you select ‘normal’ as the font style, so it will default to the theme’s default italic.

    The live preview in the customizer works differently, so that will explain why it changes in the live preview but not the live site.

    If you need to change the tagline style from italic to normal, you could so by adding the following to Customize > Additional CSS

    .site-description {
        font-style: normal;
    }

    Thank you. Respect. All good now.
