Tagline Image not displaying

  • Hi, I’m a new user. I’m using themify base with wordpress 4.1. I want to replace the tagline with an image. I went under customize and changed the setting there, sometimes the preview will display my change, sometimes not. I can’t get the image to display in the main “visit site” page. Any ideas? Thank you.

  • Not sure. I haven’t had problems with images.

    Quick check:
    1) You did specify that the tagline is to be an image, not text or none?
    2) You actually uploaded the image to the media library first?
    3) It’s not being hidden by other header objects/background or in a different position?
    4) You did save it & cleared all caches?
    5) Do you get a broken link icon in it’s place or nothing at all?
    6) It’s a viewable size? Can you put it in other places like a post or a page without problems?
    7) Maybe it’s an image format problem? What is it? PNG, JPG?

    The preview can take some time to load the changes. Sometimes this is fast, sometimes not. If it gets interrupted, I can lose my last customization or have problems saving.
