Tagging Pages

I don’t know if there is a way to do this or not as I’ve just got WordPress.

My intention is to use it as a base for an online store as it has most of the features that would make it perfect for this particular application. This is what I’m looking to do:

Say I have 3 pages. 1 for “Shirts”, 1 for “Pants” and one for “Accessories”. I’d like there to be products, each with a description on those pages, when you click them, you goto a new page for that product…easy enough. What I can’t do, is add a product to it’s own page and have the search feature “find” the page because I can’t tag it with any information. So, is there a way to add tags to a page so the search feature can find it or would I have to find another way to do it? Thanks in advance for any help you guys can offer.
