Tag searches not working

    At some point events have stopped appearing in the archive loop based on their tag. This used to work, but has stopped. I don’t believe I’ve changed any code which could affect this and I can’t get it to work by moving to different theme and disabling all my plugins (barring TEC and community submission).

    Any clues as if this is a known issue, or any way to debug?

  • I’m actually not sure anymore because with each update, I test it and as soon as the facets disappear, I roll back. I’m currently on TEC 6.0.1.1 (TEC Pro 6.0.2.1) and I can’t go any further.

    Hi, @jmsil @delanthear sorry to hear about this. I reached out to our team in regard to this, and I already shared your scenario here and that it is still occurring on our latest release.

    Just to confirm further, could you try enabling Include events in main blog loop? Under Events → Settings → General Tab.

    Please let me know how it goes and I’d also get back to you whenever I hear from the team.

    Hi @abzlevelup. Checking that means the events appear in the blog loop (which I DON’T want) and they still don’t appear in the tag search.

    The bug breaking the “Include events in main blog loop” feature in the wp-admin > Events > Settings > General section was finally fixed!

    Please update the free Events Calendar plugin to version 6.0.6 to apply that fix to your site.

    Well, good news KINDA.

    This has FIXED the tag search problem! Yay

    But this update has broken Astra! When the TEC activated, Astra no longer displays featured images on the blog post archive page correctly. What could be causing this? It works fine when I deactivate TEC.

    Latest update fixes the blog loop. All good now!
