• Hi,
I am using Hueman theme. When I add the <!–more–> tag in a post, it just breaks the post there while I want a clickable link.. So on front page it ends the text. I would expect a link to the full post, but I have no idea how to get a link there.

    Anyone got this working ?

  • Could you put a link to your site to show what you mean? I think you just click on either the feature image or the title to get from the home page from the excerpts page. That’s how it works on my site.

Hi, clicking on featured image or link works indeed. What I mean is in when you write a new post, you have the option to use the ‘read more’ button. This will get you a ‘ read more ‘ link on a place where you want it. This is not the same as the general excerpt setting.
    Its explained here : https://www.wpbeginner.com/beginners-guide/how-to-properly-use-the-more-tag-in-wordpress/

It works only half in Hueman, as the post is indeed ended after the tag, but there is no visible link that says ‘ read more’
