Tag more in futured content

  • The featured content does not show excerpts and therefore the more tag will not appear.

    Having said that you can achieve both of your requirements if you are willing to take a dig at the code. It will involve creating a child theme, copying a couple of files from Twenty Fourteen and in to your child theme. You’d then tinker the code to get it to do what you want.

    This is an involved process and if you are not comfortable with code then I do not recommend it.
